The Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services is to have an option to appeal to the Financial Ombudsman


The Russian Government has expanded the list of services which citizens will be able to use in electronic form on the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services. Among the new services to be created on the portal there will be an option to submit a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman.

Chairman of the Russian Government Mikhail Mishustin announced the new services of the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services at an operational meeting with Deputy Prime Ministers.

«The electronic form is now provided for a number of other services as well, such as an appeal to the Financial Ombudsman for recovery of money or property from debtor organizations,» noted Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Currently, it is possible to file a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman by filling out a standard electronic appeal form in the consumer’s personal account on the Financial Ombudsman Service’s website or in writing to the address of the Ombudsman for financial services consumers support Service (OFSC).
