High Commissioner for Human Rights and Chief Financial Ombudsman to sign an agreement to combine efforts in citizens’ rights protection

Russia’s High Commissioner for Human Rights Tatiana Moskalkova and Chief Financial Ombudsman Yury Voronin intend to sign an agreement on cooperation in order to combine efforts to protect the rights of citizens.

The agreement is planned to contain provisions for joint monitoring of consumer rights protection by the parties, development of proposals to improve legislation, as well as consideration of common issues in the framework of expert council meetings.

«Joining efforts of utmost importance for the society and human rights institutions is bound to increase the efficiency of our work, give a synergetic effect and additional impulses for the improvement and development of our work,» Yury Voronin said.
