An English version of the Financial Ombudsman Service website is now available at www.finombudsman.ru.
The English-language version of the site includes the main sections available on the Russian-language page, as well as it is supplemented by a new section of “International Cooperation”. It provides information on the results of the international activities of the Financial Ombudsman Service, plans for the development of international cooperation and contact details for foreign correspondence.
The launch of the English version of the site has been dictated by the foreign citizens’ interest in the activities of the Russian Institute of the FOS, which is growing after the entry of the FOS into the International Network of Financial Services Ombudsman Schemes, says Chief Financial Ombudsman Yuri Voronin. “Within a year, our site has been visited by users from 74 countries, so the launch of the site in English is bound to increase the level of accessibility of information about our activities to a foreign audience,” Yuri Voronin added.
