The Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) is to take part in the “Week of Financial Literacy” in Moscow. As part of the event, representatives of the Ombudsman for financial services consumers support Service (OFSC) are expected to tell residents of the capital about the institute of the Financial Ombudsman, the procedure for filing appeals, as well as the FOS electronic services.
The lecture is scheduled for 26 August under the co-operation agreement signed by the OFSC and the State Agency of the City of Moscow “Financial Agency of the City of Moscow” (“Mosfinagency”). The “Week of Financial Literacy” is due to take place from 23 to 29 August at the forum-festival “Territory of the Future – Moscow 2030”. “Zapovednoye embassy” in Zaryadye Park is set to become a centre for financial enlightenment. The organisers have prepared more than 150 events for visitors, in particular, lectures, educational lessons, master classes, consultations, exhibitions on important financial topics. There is also planned to be an interactive zone with a financial check-up, a financial fortune teller, an audio kiosk of financial literacy, and a financial photo booth. All those interested can attend meetings with financial experts and popular bloggers.
