FOS to participate in Bank of Russia Financial Congress

The Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) is to take part in the Bank of Russia Financial Congress, which will be held on 6-7 July 2023. Chief Financial Ombudsman Yury Voronin, Financial Ombudsmen Viktor Klimov and Svetlana Maximova are among the speakers at the panel discussions. 

The Bank of Russia Financial Congress is one of the main events on the financial and economic arena. The main sessions in 2023 will be held in St. Petersburg, on the new stage of the Mariinsky Theatre on the Kryukov Canal Embankment.

Sessions of the business programme will take place in the Theatre’s principal hall, chamber and rehearsal rooms. The lobbies and foyer of the Theatre will serve as areas for debate and business negotiations.

Congress participants will have the opportunity to attend the plenary session and 28 panel discussions, in which more than 100 speakers have been confirmed. The event will bring together market participants, economic and financial analysts, national regulators and international experts in a dialogue about both the present and the future of the national financial system.

The subject of the plenary session is the structural transformation of the economy and financial markets. The agenda also includes issues of regulation in the financial sector, economic development in a new environment, monetary policy, and many others.

The Congress is expected to be attended by the heads of the major players in the Russian financial market, representatives of the Bank of Russia and regulators from Russia’s partner countries.
