Head of Ombudsman for financial services consumers support Service and Saratov region Commissioner for Human Rights sign cooperation agreement

Olga Kraynova, head of the Ombudsman for financial services consumers support Service (OFSC), and Nadezhda Sukhova, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Saratov region, signed a cooperation agreement. The signing ceremony was held on 28 March 2023 in Saratov.

The subject of the agreement is the organization of cooperation on exchange of information, as well as coordination of work in the performance by the parties of their powers in the established areas of activity.

Under the agreement, the parties will be able to receive necessary information upon request, conduct mutual consultations in the field of protection of rights of consumers of financial services. The parties will assist in distribution of the most efficient practices of rendering qualified legal assistance to citizens in respective areas.

Joint events, including personal reception of citizens, seminars and round tables are being planned.

Olga Kraynova, head of the OFSC, stressed the importance of cooperation with the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Saratov region in protecting the rights of consumers of financial services. In her opinion, ensuring the legal rights of citizens can be successfully resolved only with close and fruitful cooperation of all stakeholders.

“The agreement with the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Saratov region will allow more citizens to receive free legal assistance, as it will give an opportunity to combine efforts to protect the rights of consumers of financial services,” Olga Kraynova said.
