President Vladimir Putin of Russia has awarded the honorary title of Honoured Lawyer of the Russian Federation to Yevgeny Pisarevsky, the Financial Ombudsman for the Rights of Consumers of Financial Services in the area of Insurance, Microfinance, Credit Cooperation and Activities of Credit Organizations.
The corresponding decree No. 195 «On conferring state awards of the Russian Federation» from 06.04.2021 was published on the official website for legal information.
Mr Evgeny L. Pisarevsky was appointed to the position of the Financial Ombudsman for the Rights of Consumers of Financial Services in the area of Insurance, Microfinance, Credit Cooperation and Activities of Credit Organizations by the decision of the Bank of Russia Board of Directors from 9 September 2019.
Prior to his appointment as the Financial Ombudsman, Mr Pisarevsky was First Deputy Chairman of the Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation.
Mr Evgeny Pisarevsky, LLD was born in Vladivostok on 3 June 1970 in a family of employees. Total length of his service is 29 years, federal civil service is 14.5 years, including 11 years in managerial positions. He is a Class III Active State Counsellor.
