Monday - Friday from 8:00 to 20:00 (Moscow time), except public holidays, free call from regions of RussiaChief Financial Ombudsman Yury Voronin and Deputy Prime Minister of the Ivanovo Region Yulia Vasilyeva signed an action plan (“roadmap”) to inform residents of the region about the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) activities. The signed document is aimed at improving the level of legal and financial literacy of the region’s residents, as well as the efficiency of the rights protection of financial services consumers.
In accordance with the signed document, a large-scale information and awareness campaign on the FOS activities is to be conducted in the region. The agreement envisages an impressive programme of activities for 2024-2026. In particular, it is planned to place information materials in regional mass media, on official websites and on social media pages of executive authorities of the Ivanovo Region.
Chief Financial Ombudsman Yury Voronin was confident that cooperation with the executive authorities of the Ivanovo region would be efficacious and mutually beneficial, and would also contribute to the formation of a socially responsible behaviour of financial market participants. “We aim at fruitful cooperation, the purpose of which is to help people in challenging circumstances when their rights have been violated,” Yury Voronin pointed out.
