Monday - Friday from 8:00 to 20:00 (Moscow time), except public holidays, free call from regions of RussiaChief Financial Ombudsman Yury Voronin and Governor of the Ryazan Region Pavel Malkov signed an agreement on cooperation.
The parties agreed to unite the available organisational, legal, informational, methodological and technological resources, including the provision of free legal aid to citizens and legal education of residents of the Ryazan region. The agreement envisages an impressive programme of activities for 2024–2026.
In accordance with the signed document, a large-scale information and awareness campaign on the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) activities is to be conducted to increase the level of legal and financial literacy of the residents of the Ryazan region.
As Chief Financial Ombudsman Yury Voronin noted, “this has already been the third agreement signed with the executive authorities of the federation’s constituent entities, which is bound to allow to replicate the positive practice of informing citizens about such an efficient tool of out-of-court protection as the institute of the Financial Ombudsman Service”. “It is important that every consumer should know that there is such an efficacious way to have the violated right protected and use it, if there a need arises,” the Chief Financial Ombudsman emphasised.
He reminded that similar agreements had earlier been signed with the governors of the Ulyanovsk and Orel regions.
