Head of the OFSC

Olga Kraynova was born on June 2, 1983, in the city of Moscow.
In 2006, she graduated from the Russian Law Academy of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. Qualified as a lawyer.
She has over 17 years of extensive job experience. Senior civil service experience over 12 years.
From 2001 to 2007, she held the positions of the leading chief expert in the Department of Legislative Drafting Activities, the Department of Management, and the Department of Economic Legislation of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.
In 2007, she was appointed Head of the Department for Interaction with the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and Executive Authorities of the Legal Department of the Federal Financial Markets Service.
In 2010 she held the position of Deputy Head, and in 2011 was appointed Head of the Department for the Development of Regulation in the Financial Market of the Federal Financial Markets Service.
From 2014 to 2018, she held the position of Deputy Head of the Service for the Consumers of Financial Services and Minority Shareholders Protection at the Bank of Russia (currently renamed as the Service for Consumer Protection and Financial Inclusion).
In October 2018, by the decision of the Bank of Russia Governor, she was appointed Head of the Standalone Non-Profit Organization “The Ombudsman for Financial Services’ Consumers Support Service” (OFSC).
